Master Sergeant David Kostik arrives back in his hometown shortly after retiring from his 20-year career in the Army. There he attempts to fix his relationship with the love of his life. Just as his world starts to fall into place, the effects of the global power grid failure reach the doorstep of his mountain town. The crisis forces him back into a familiar role.
