There's a lot of people working to make the arts in Newfoundland and Labrador more inclusive locally, especially for those who are Black, Indigenous or people of colour.

One of those people is John Rao, a theatre arts teacher at Holy Heart High School, who recently formed a group for BIPOC theatre students called New Voices.
