Kristen has been in the industry for nearly 20 years both as a hairstylist and salon owner and now, a salon industry coach. Throughout her career, one thing that she has found was that wherever she went she was always able to attract two things…opportunities and clients.

In 2007 Kristen opened the doors to her salon and quickly attracted old and new clients. She had a solid book of clients within the first 6 months and in 2008 she hired her first employee and began mentoring, teaching and coaching each new hire.

What she discovered through teaching her new stylists was a unique set of skills and practices that she implemented behind her own chair. This seemed to be a magnet for clients, referrals, opportunities and income.

Kristen has coached dozens of stylists within her salon to build a solid clientele, niche their services and charge premium prices behind the chair and thousands of hairstylists and salon owners around the world through her podcast The In Demand Hairstylist.

Additionally, Kristen grew, scaled and sold her successful commission salon for multiple six-figures in 2021 and is now taking everything she has learned over the past 20 years to help other driven salon owners build, manage & motivate teams while creating balance, freedom and success in their life and business.
