This week we talked about #nationalairborneday and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency or DARPA (https://www.darpa.mil). In addition, we discussed the upcoming DARPA Webinar on 24 August hosted by NC DEFTECH.
The DARPA webinar will not be as in-depth as the 2021 DARPA roadshow that is mobilized. Still, it will allow the North Carolina Innovation ecosystem to hear the latest out of this government organization and network with the DARPA team.
We discussed the Voices of DARPA Podcast (https://www.darpa.mil/about-us/podcast) and the educational videos available on their website (https://www.youtube.com/darpatv).
This podcast was an overview of how to find the DARPA information and will be covered more in-depth on Mobilize and the Coffee Call on Friday, 19 August 2022.
Mobilize
Sign up now for DEFTECH’s free Mobilize Community:
WHY: To help members of NC Innovation Ecosystem grow their business by meeting warfighters’ current and future technology needs. Our goal is to elevate awareness of opportunities and increase your wins in the federal marketplace. DEFTECH will use the platform as an additional tool to keep you updated on DEFTECH events, activities, business opportunities, and programs related to federal emerging technology requirements.
WHAT: Mobilize is a private information sharing platform that allows DEFTECH members to collaborate; share knowledge; advertise business opportunities related to emerging federal technology requirements; create teaming opportunities, and inform best practices. It’s easy to use and will take about 10 minutes to sign-up.
HOW: Use this link to sign up: (https://nc-defense-technology-transition-office.mobilize.io/registrations/groups/45515).
1. First, you will create a welcome post in the DEFTECH Community Lounge and say “Hi” to the community. Upload a picture and share some information about yourself to connect with others.
2. Secondly, you will enter the Company Registry and create a “baseball card” to highlight your organization’s Brand and Value Proposition, core competencies, website, social media links, etc. Add a “Key Words” section so other members can easily find you. This will become a virtual exhibit hall highlighting our community organizations and capabilities. Be creative.
3. Thirdly, you can check the highlights section often as we post new information and links to make your experience in the DEFTECH Mobilize Community productive.
4. If you need help getting started, contact (Bob and add your info).
