Christian is the director of the Human Systems portfolio at the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). The portfolio’s mission is to accelerate commercial innovation and technology transition to government and defense personnel, covering a wide area of problem sets from safety and survivability, training and simulation, to prevention and treatment of combat injuries.
