12 Feb 2017 As Jesus tells his disciples the parable about the labourers in the vineyard (Matthew 20:1-16), he highlights that being a disciple means being sent into the harvest. This will at times entail labour: ministry in the kingdom of God can be hard work! Nonetheless, as disciples we are promised to receive: blessings in this life, and eternal life in the world to come.
