Discussion Questions:

Q: Can you describe a time when you discovered something new in a book, movie, or the Bible, in spite of having previously read or seen it before? Why did it stand out even though you’d already read it or seen it?

Q: What is the big difference between knowing about Jesus and actually experiencing Jesus?

Q: Are there areas in your life right now where you need to be calling out and running to Jesus? How can we as a group help you with that?

Q: What in our culture, our life, our relationships, keeps us from being wholehearted with Jesus? How does having a clear understanding of ourselves and of Him help overcome that?

Q: Can you think of times you’ve been consumed with what you want instead of asking for what you actually need? How did you move from one to the other?

Q: Do you really understand who Jesus is, and do you believe what He says? Are you apathetic towards Him or does the wonder of who He is inspire you to spend time with Him joyfully?

Q: If you find yourself hesitant to follow Him, which of these is closer to the reason for waiting: You have a hard time seeing yourself clearly, or you have a hard time seeing Jesus clearly.
