Her Story Born in New York City, Ginger’s early childhood was one of privilege. Private school education and every opportunity to succeed were at her fingertips. At the age of 12, she picked up her first drink and it spiraled into her living a double life.

During the day she would attend to the expectations of her parents and at night she would go out dancing and doing drugs in the nightclubs. She worked at the infamous Studio 54 in high school and behaved in ways that were unbecoming to a “young lady.”

Following college, she returned to NY to work in the advertising business. Lacking a serious work ethic, she found a man to marry and settled into a life in the suburbs. After a couple of years, her daughter was born and that was the beginning of her bottom.

She arrived in AA on May 22, 2000 and has not looked back. Her Recovery is the greatest fact of her life for without it she would not live the life of joy and usefulness.

Currently she lives in Vermont with her husband and 2 dogs.
