We live in a world where it isn't safe to trust a promise. More times than not, things that seem too good to be true will eventually let us down. But what about a promise that comes from outside of this world? In Luke 1, we come face to face with a promise from outside of this world that seems to good to be true. Mary received this promise from God with humility, and in turn was filled with joy! What does it look like for us, with Mary, to humbly trust God's promises for the sake of our joy?
