Akbar Thobhani is the Co-founder and CEO at sFOX. Thobhani founded sFOX in 2014, creating a full-service digital asset trading platform that serves as a full-service crypto prime dealer for institutional investors, providing the liquidity, security, and infrastructure needed to unlock the full potential of digital assets.

Before founding sFOX, Thobhani worked as an Advisor at Airbnb and served as a Board Member at Balanced.

Thobhani graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a bachelor’s in Computer Science and Business Administration. He then received an SCPM in Advance Project Management from Stanford University. In 2009, Thobhani received his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he was elected president of the Finance Club and the VP of the Venture Capital Conference for the Venture Capital Private Equity Club.
