I wrote a letter to my boyfriend that started with these 5 words, “If I go before you...”.
I know it might sound morbid, but the more I contemplate death and even read about it in books like The Untethered Soul, I realize the gifts that death offers to us.
I highly encourage you to set aside some time to write a letter or two. Write to your partner, your children, your parents. For me, this was much less about having a letter to leave behind and much more about the exercise of writing the letter itself.💛
