Our narrative in John moves from Jerusalem and out into the Judean countryside where we'll be privy to an interesting argument between a member of the religious establishment and several of the disciples of John the Baptist. And as we listen in, we'll become aware of how tempting what we'll call spiritual stardom can be, both for leaders and followers. And in becoming aware, we'll learn that having the right view of ourselves and of Jesus changes everything!
