In the third episode, we'll be sharing the first in a series of extracts of a conversation with Khadijah Diskin, a research assistant and doctoral candidate at Manchester Metropolitan University who is exploring Black students positions, experiences and interactions with the Academy.

Our conversation includes discovering what kind of actions we can begin to take to try and create some form of change. What shift in our perspective is necessary to ensure feminism is doing the most when it comes to the liberation of all women. We know that intersectional feminism has a part to play, but what is truly intersectional? Finally, the power and transformation of doing the work to learn. Is it a luxury? What blocks are in the way that encourages this cognitive dissonance between our oppression from the patriarchy, to how we then treat Black women within our movement?
