Sermon On the Mount: What's Love Got To do With It? Big Idea: Jesus takes us deeper into the meaning and purpose of the Law, and that no one can live up to it...but we have the Cross! Notes: The Law became a stumbling block to the Pharisees as they relied on their self-righteousness, and therefore not the grace on the cross. The Law shows us that we cannot fulfill it. We need to rely on the righteousness of Jesus, instead of our own self-righteousness.
