Mary and Joseph, as faithful Jewish people, bring the baby Jesus to the Temple to do for Him as the Law prescribed. While there, a righteous and devout man, Simeon, took the baby Jesus in his arms and described the ministry that lay ahead. Then Anna, aged 84, also bore witness to the holy child.
