Last week, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers released his two-year budget. We dive into some of the highlights, as the state has a $7.1 billion surplus to play with — a surplus that hasn't been touched by the GOP-controlled state Legislature in over a year. Some of the highlights include: Paid Family Leave, Minimum Wage, Education , Funding ($1,000 increase per student, End Vouchers, Teacher Training, End Racist mascots, Increase School Mental Health Services, Naloxone in schools, Free School Meals, Literacy Coaches and Computer science courses), Medicaid expansion, Tax Cut, PFAS, Automatic Voter Registration.
