Sandy Township has approved a new emergency response system program, meant to connect EMS and fire departments so they can all be in the loop about what emergencies are happening and who all will be helping at the scene. It's called the IamResponding program, which uses text and emails to alert crews and collect info about how many people are on their way to the emergency.
