Peter is saying here that is one the most important things in his life- -to keep his brothers and sisters awake and excited to the truths of New Creation by constantly remind them that, by God's Grace powerfully at work in their lives, they must add to their faith so that they will keep growing in Christlikeness and have an honoured homecoming.
