As we come to the nobleman with the dying son the author contrasts the Jewish audience with the Samaritans and Herodians and forces the readers to ask this question---Will we demand signs before we believe or will we believe Jesus at His word---We see in this passage a fickle faith, a fragile faith and a full faith.
