Kathleen O’Brien began her career as an advertising copywriter at a large ad agency in Detroit, worked as a TV broadcaster in three major markets, owned a video production company serving Fortune 100 clients, and taught media relations at two top-tier graduate schools of business.
After 13 years of aging research and teaching classes through the University of Denver’s continuing education program, Kathleen put together her findings in a new book, Reclaim Your Right to Grow Old. The book, one-part manifesto and one-part field guide, shows readers, with humor and through personal stories, how to ditch their youth obsession and immerse themselves in the beauty of the aging process.
