We go deeper into the history of Dr. Horrible. We question whether Wells really is the best Flash villain. And we examine the achievements of a man whose only credentials are that his first name is technically Doctor, Krieger.
It is time for a new brand bracket! We have friend of the show Zak Moy back on the program to help us introduce some of the deadliest doctors we could find. Nando explains why Doctor Doom isn't as bad as his name might suggest and DJ gives us an introduction to the complicated history of the androids of Dcotor Gero in DBZ.

This week on Reckless Speculation, we are talking to everyone at special guest Jay Van Buiten's Super Bowl party. We have at least ten different bits of Reckless Speculations that span from Marchawn Lynch's future in football to the halftime show to whether someone is or is not an obscure video game character. And yes we did technically put this up before the game. So if anything here is right, here is proof that we are magic.
It's not TV. It's Reckless Speculation! This week we sit down with fellow podcaster Nick Berrios to talk about the best network in all of creation, the Home Box Office or HomeBO for short or HBO for shortest. DJ thinks HBO will be forced to put Game of Thrones on hold until the new books are written because no one has ever stretched one 300 page novel into three two hour long movies with all kinds of new dwarf/elf love triangles and forty five minutes of f*@king Radagast! Nando thinks Westworld will grow faster than the mega hit Game of Thrones thanks to a production team that includes J J Abrams, a man known for quality television that comes to a satisfying conclusion. Nick thinks that True Detective Season 2 will start strong and fizzle once audiences realize that the second guy is Collin Farrell.
Big week guys! Big week! We are one week into our Craziest Captain bracket. The amount of votes we are getting is kinda insane. We bring back frequent quest and fellow podcaster Nick Berrios to go through the results of the first round. Nick even knows who some of the guys are! Not all but some. We have a bunch of crazy upsets and the next round of match ups is even crazier. We also go through some Oscar predictions in the beginning because we lack self control. Vote this week on www.madbracketstatus.com/p/polls.html
It is clear that 2015 is going to be the biggest single year for movies since possibly 1994. We have assembled Nando and DJ, along with faithful guest Chris Diggins, to speculate about some of the possible successes and failures that we can look forward to this year. Obviously mega hits like Avengers and Star Wars will be great but what about some of the smaller films? Will Mad Max have a strong enough start to reboot the franchise? Will Pitch Perfect 2 sour Anna Kendrick's popularity? What on earth will happen with Fox's Fantastic Four reboot? All of these questions and more will be answered on this week's Reckless Speculation.
This week DJ and graphic designer Michelle Coraci sit down to talk with one of the Captains from our Craziest Captain bracket. Digger Harkness a.k.a. Captain Boomerang stops by to give us some insight into his boomerang themed process. He gives us a behind the scenes look at the recent drama concerning the Suicide Squad movie. This week we have graphic artist Michelle Coraci on to talk about more Crazy Captains. We take a closer look at the round one match ups between the Space, Sea, Superhero, and Other divisions of our Craziest Captains bracket. Some patterns emerge. Are all of the space captains intent on killing their crew members? Are all of the superhero captains incredibly insecure? All of those questions and more will get answered this week.
Oh Captain! My Captain! Our fearful trip is done. The Greatest Conspiracy Theory bracket is over and we are staring our new bracket this week. We bring on actor/comedian Chris Diggins to talk about who we think are the Craziest Captains. We have Captains from the four major Captain divisions; Space, Superhero, Sea, and Other. Vote all week on your picks.
What's that you say? Paul McCartney is still alive? Do we have an interview for you! Apparently, not only was Paul McCartney killed in a car accident in 1966 and it was covered up by the Beatles BUT Paul McCartney chose to, as a ghost, come on Mad Bracket Status to talk about the truth with DJ and Caroline. He talks about the conspiracy, the afterlife, and all kinds of other stuff. Its great.
This is it! This week we finally finish the Greatest Conspiracy Theory bracket once and for all. Will is be 9/11 Truth? Will it be the Moon Landing? It will be the Moon Landing. They win. Bracket over. Now onto the future. We bring Mad Bracket Status CTO, Caroline Amaba, on to discuss our new Craziest Captains bracket! This one is going to be fun. Love us again! Also there is a post credits conversation from last week with Zane Schacht about the Star Wars prequels that we thought was too fun to throw away.
This week we sit down with Zane Schacht to recklessly speculate about Telltale Games. Best known for their Walking Dead series, Telltale is working on a lot of interesting projects that make is possible for their 2015 to go in a lot of different directions. What will the third season of The Walking Dead look like? Will Minecraft: Story Mode be a success? What will Telltale's next licensed project be? All of this and more on this week's Reckless Speculation.
Did we land on the moon? Was 9/11 an inside job? Probably not. That won't stop us from investigating. This may be our most incredible interview ever. Jesse Ventura, host of Conspiracy Theory, stops by to sit down with DJ and George Blazeski and talk about the Illuminati but little does he know that all is not what it seems. Some of our hosts have secret agendas that will blow your minds.
This week Nando and DJ welcome their friend and non legal council, George Blazeski onto the show. They talk history and reveal the Elite Eight in our Greatest Conspiracy Theory bracket. They also cover the recent Sony hacks.
This week we dive deeper into the Sweet Sixteen round of our Greatest Conspiracy Theory bracket. Kevin Lourenco finally returns from Europe/Ohio. We break down the 9/11 Truth movement, the Paul is Dead theory, Chemtrails, and Jesus' Bloodline. Vote all week to determine the Elite Eight.
This week on Reckless Speculation, we speculate recklessly on the future of The Flash. We have our MBS co-host and Pop-Break.com's Flash correspondent, Nando bring on fellow Flash fan's and past guests Kevin Lourenco and Emily Hromada to give some of their crazy Flash theories. Emily wonders about Firestorm's introduction. Kevin thinks a main character is going to die soon. Nando explains his crazy theory that Barry's dad is the Man in the Yellow Suit and he is also Eddie in the future. Comment with your thoughts but go easy on Emily and Kevin. They're noobs. Make fun of Nando. He deserves it.
This is the first week of our Greatest Conspiracy Theory bracket. We welcome back the voice of Mad Bracket Status, Jackson Kelly, back to go through the first round and discuss some of the competitors. We go into depth on the moon landing, Stevie Wonder's blindness, JFK's assassination, and the pyramids.
In this week's interview segment, DJ and MBS guest Nick Porcaro sit down with famed astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson. They discuss conspiracies and the moon landing but mostly the $400 that Nick's dad, Ken Porcaro, owes NDT. Apparently Neil Degrasse Tyson's whole career has been an elaborate scheme to get that $400.
This week graphic designer and friend of the show Nick Parcaro stops by. We reveal the winner of the Best Billionaire Bracket. We also dive into some of the possibilities for our next bracket. Also Nickleback is terrible.
This week we recklessly speculate about Ubisoft. On the heels of releasing the 7th entry into the Assassin's Creed series, we make some guesses as to the future of the company. We talk future Assassin's Creed games, Watchdogs sequels, and we even speculate on their hyped up Division. We also get a little off topic and argue over whether games like Halo being buggy is a problem or not.
Who is the Best Billionaire? We are so close to finding that out! You don't even know, man! On this episode, we invite video game designer Frank DiCola over to talk rich people. We reveal the winners of the Real and Fictional sides of our Best Billionaire Bracket and talk about the final match up. We also talk a bit of Chris Rock and space shirt controversy because we just can't not do that.
In this week's interview segment, DJ and Stunwin sat down with both Bruce Wayne AND Batman! That's right! They were both there sitting side by side talking to our hosts. They refuted the allegations that they are the same person, talked about the economic situation in Gotham, and even revealed Batman's true identity to the world.
This week we reveal the Final Four in our Best Billionaire Bracket. Fan favorite, Stunwin comes on to defend Warren Buffet and hate on Kaiba. We also go into even MORE depth about Yu-Gi-Oh!, which Stunwin hates. We even have the first tie in a very long time.
In another bit of BONUS stuff, Nando, DJ, and Zak engage in a little bit of RECKLESS SPECULATION! With all of the Marvel announcements as of late, we wanted to speculate about the future of the Marvel and of all comic book movies. Will the bubble burst? Will Marvel be forced to reboot? Will they keep making Thor movies? Let us know what you think and look out later this week for the new MBS Podcast!
Second time's a charm. We bring creative genius Zak Moy on to talk about the results from the first round of our Best Billionaire Bracket. We also get really far into Yu-Gi-Oh! so get ready for that.

We are flying solo here. DJ is off in Great Britain so Nando is forced to go it alone. He has help though. So yeah. Not alone. Diggins has to leave, but Nando and Emily interview Richard Nixon and finally get down to the bottom of the Watergate Conspiracy. We also tease the next bracket and we even rip apart the Desolation of Smaug.
This is our 1-Year Anniversary Episode! We have a ton of guests back on. Ethan, Emily, Frank, Paul, Caroline, Nick, Tim, Diggins, and Jack all stop by to talk the first year of Mad Bracket Status. This is certainly the greatest episode of Mad Bracket Status ever, until next year.
This podcast is on fire! DJ and Nando sit down with sketch comedian and Dave Coulier enthusiast Sean Kelty to talk purple. We reveal the Final Four in our The Purplest One bracket and we even get a chance to sit down with one of our competitors. Get excited for our anniversary episode next week!
This is a message to all Autobots. We go through the first round of eliminations in the The Purplest One bracket. Autobots, Roll Out!
The first week of voting in the The Purplest One bracket is over. We have eliminated many great competitors (and Justin Beiber) to arrive at our top 16. We bring our friend and not legal council George Blazeski on to talk purple and also football. Also speaking of purple and football, you are never going to believe who from the bracket comes on. But then again with the power of prayer and positive thinking anything is possible. Anything.
We have the 32 competitors in the running for our The Purplest One bracket. We bring Trevor Brenn on to sort through the competition and give us his opinion on who can win it all. We even get a surprise appearance from one of the competitors himself and he has a bone to pick with DJ.
