Dara Vakili is inhis final year BSc Applied Medical Science student from UCL. Over the past 4 years, he has embarked on various medical research projects in exploring how gene therapy can help to combat genetic disorders. He is currently doing his final project at the Wellcome Sanger Institute on iPSC genomics and plans to continue his research after graduation. Outside of academia, he is involved with an educational start-up, teaching substance harm reduction and educating lawyers with medicine.
