Alexander Bard gives a sneak preview of some of the ideas in his upcoming book, Digital Libido - Sex, Power and Violence in the Network Society.

This keynote at the Syntheist Node's Stockholm Men's Gathering in March 2018 gives a short introduction to Bard's "Tribal Mapping" theoretical framework for understanding contemporary society. To do this Bard draws on new revelations from the emerging field of data anthropology to get a more realistic picture of human behaviour in the original tribe, and combines this with his own previous work on Body Machines and Syntheism. In doing this, Bard is particularly inspired by thinkers such as Freud, Nietzsche, Lacan and Jordan Peterson.  

The core message of the keynote is underlining the need to grow beyond the current infantilization of society by finding our contributive role in our "tribe"  and thereby joining in the process of adultification.
