In these chapters we find Job allowed to be tested by God and then reminded that he will always be delivered for evil, but shown that God is Just, and will not always punish those who come against His people. Job is also reminded of the Good that he did and how encourage others when they were down and discouraged. His life was a reminder to many of how The God that he served was a Good God. Finally, we will all face troubles, even those of us who Trust God.
Genesis Chapters 42 thru 45 tells how the lies and deception of Joseph's brothers catches up with them. God's plan is greater than Jacob's, Israel, sons. Joseph is truely a man of God and he does not hold it against his brothers that he is sold into slavery to the Egyptians. The dream that he had as a young man comes to past. Every situation he finds himself in, God gives him favor with the people. They recognizes his favor with God, and they prosper because of their relationship with him.
In this chapter of Genesis Chapter 41, Joseph is promoted to 2nd only to The King Pharaoah. He is the only one who can tell the King what his dream means.
Regardless to where Joseph finds himself, God has promoted him. He finds favor with those over him.
Genesis Chapter 40, Joseph interprets a Dream. This gets him noticed farther as being a man used by God, even though he was imprisoned.
The Cupbearer and Chief Baker find themselves imprison with Joseph and asking him to interpret their dreams.
He asked them to remember him, but they didn't.
In this episode we learn about Honesty.
Also God's Favor. Everything and everybody can be against you, but with God's Favor, man can't touch you, or stop you, from being successful.
Joseph had God's blessing everywhere he went. If we find ourselves in a bad situation, God won't leave you, and you will be a blessing all those around you.
Genesis 35 talks about Jacob moving to Bethel, and being renamed to Israel.
In chapter 37, we see the siblings trying to kill Joseph because of the dreams he has told them about where he is ruling over them.
In the end of this episode Joseph is sold to Potiphar, Pharaoh's Officer, the captain of the bodyguard.
This episode starts off with Jacob being touched by an Angel of God, Genesis 32
Chapter 33 Jacob meets Esau, then he settles in Shechem.
Chapter 34, we learn about the Treachery of his sons.
Genesis 30 and 31 shows us how Jacob is blessed with sons, livestock, and servants. Rachel and Leah both gives him their maids, because are trying to outdo one another.
Chapter 31 tells us how Jacob heads towards his homeland, Canaan, because his father in law, Laban, has taken advantage of him many times, and Jacob has had enough.
God tells Laban in a dream to not harm Jacob.
In this episode, Genesis 28 and 29, Isaac sents his son away to find a wife among his people.
Jacob is deceived by Laban to work 14 years, to both daughters, Leah and Rachel.
This episode, Genesis Chapter 26 and 27, deals with deception, promises, and Loyalty.
Isaac and Ablimelech agree to live in peace.
Jacob tricks his father Isaac into giving him the family blessings, with the help of his mother,Rebekah, which should have gone to Esau.
Genesis 24 starts off with Abraham's servant, swearing to find a wife for Isaac, Abraham's son.
The servant has to go back to the land of Abraham's relatives and pick her.
;In Chapter 25 Abraham breathed his last and dies at the ripe old age of 175, but not before he took another wife, Keturah, and she born him more children; Zimran,Jokshan,Medan,Midian,Ishbak, and Shuah.
In Genesis 22 Abraham is tested, he is told to take his only son, Isaac, and offer him on the mountain, where God shows him. God provided a Ram instead!
Genesis 23 Abraham is honored to bury his wife sarah in a choice grave site, when she dies at the age of 127.
This episode starts off in Genesis Chapter 20 with Abraham and Sarah lying to King Abimelech about Sarah and Abraham being brother and sister.
In Chapter 21, at the old age of 100, Abraham is granted the promised son with Sarah.
God makes a covenant with Abraham requiring Circumcising all of the males in his family and those bought with his money living in his household.
Abraham and Abimelech make a covenant.
Genesis chapters 18 and 19 speaks about the birth of Isaac promised, and The Doom of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Lots daughters gets him drunk and sleeps with him, because in their eyes, because the world has been turned upside down, their are no men left for them to marry.
Genesis 16 and 17 tells names are being changed and a covenant is being established between God and Abraham.
The covenant of Circumcision of all the men in Abraham's household, whether born or bought with money from a foreigner, they must be circumcised.
Abram goes after Those who captured his relative, Lot.
The Lord promises Abram a son, and Abram believed it, in spite of his age.
Genesis 13 and 15
God dispersed the people for trying to build a tower up to Heaven.
He will protect his people, and bless those who bless them.
Abram lies about his wife Sarai, causing a curse upon Pharaoh.
The book of Hebrews shows us God's final word in His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus sits on the right hand of God The Father, becoming much better than the angels. He was made, for a little while, a little lower than the angels. Jesus was tempted and suffered for us, therefore He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted. He is our high priest. He is our boast until the end. The day we hear His voice, we should never harden our hearts, as to provoke the Lord thy God. James 3, 4, and Chapter 5, reminds us that as small as our tongue is, it can do so much danger, if we don't think before we speak. Reminding us that good and bad shouldn't come from it. Wisdom comes from above and we aren't to look to the world for instructions. God's wisdom is pure. Furthermore, there are things we should avoid. Lusting for things and being envious about what we cannot obtain. If we draw near to God, we will be exalted by Him. Our lives are but a vapor, so let's remember to always say, if the Lord will, I will do this or that. In Chapter 7 Amos again is used to deliver a Warning Through Visions, then Amos is accused by the king, but he gives an answer.
Amos 4 and 5 continues with the judgement by The Lord upon Those who are hurting people, including Israel.
The Lord God reminds Israel of the things He has done for them, and yet they have not returned to Him.
He tells them to seek Him that they might live.

Daniel has been appointed a commissioner to watch over the satraps and wise men. The king was ready to appoint Daniel even higher, but the perfects, wise men, and others tried to get Daniel Killed.
Daniel was eventually thrown into the Lion's Den, because of an injunction the King was tricked into signing, because there was a law of the Medes and Persians, that once a law was enacted, it couldn't be changed.
The God of Heaven closed the mouth of the lions, so Daniel wasn't injuried because he trust God and he hadn't done anything wrong.
In the end, the evil men were thrown into the Lion's Den, with their family member.
The Feast of Belshazzar, when a inscription is written on the wall.
Belshazzar, inspite of his father, Nebuchadnezzar, telling him about the true and only living God, he didn't recognize Him, and was still worshipping idol things and gods.
The kingdom is taken away from Belshazzar and given to Darius the Mede.
He died the same night of the interpretation by Daniel.
The King, Nebuchadnezzar, Acknowledges God.
He has a vision of a Great Tree.
Daniel Inteprets the Vison.
and The Vision is Fulfilled.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego refuses to bow and worship the Golden Image the King had constructed. They were thrown into the furnace, but God saved them.
King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that troubled him, so he wanted his wise men to interpretate it without him telling them what it was all about. Once he realized they couldn't tell him the dream's intrepretation without him telling them first what it was all about, he ordered them killed, and their homes as well.
God used Daniel to help Daniel save the day. Daniel knew it wasn't any wisedom on his part, but to his credit, he knew who to pray to for answers, and he solicted the help of his brothren.
In the end, God showed the King that his wise men weren't so wise after all and He is the God to be worshipped.
This Book of Daniel starts off with a great understanding of what it means to obey your calling to be a follower of the only true and living God. Hope Daniel and his brothren were blessed to be promoted to serve the king, and even when others try to get you killed, God will protect you, just as he did for the three Hebrew boys, when they were thrown into the furnace.
This is a great description of a Worthy Woman; Wise, Hardworking, Faithful, Industrious, and noble.
Warning the listeners about our behavior and the things that will make either happy or lost from The Lord God.
We are always to love wisdom and keep away from the foolishness of the world.
The Lust of the flesh and foolishness of the heart.
WE don't want to be ensnared by any wrong doings.
We must always be concerned about our lives.
If we follow the words and and instructions of this book, we will definitely see our Lord and Savior, and receive our reward, plus we will be a light to this dark world.
Continueing with the instructions of being wise, prudent, honorable, a good friend, and a hard worker, one who will reap rewards for being stedfast.
This is certainly good instructions for this year, 2024. The World is seeing a lot of challenges,socially, politically, and in the church organizations around the world. We need to study this book and really get it into our hearts and minds.
King Solomon continues instructing us to understand the foolish and the lazy or prideful person.
Giving us instructions on how to live a quiet and peaceful life, and be blessed of The Lord.
Don't Gossiping
Help our fellow man, even if they are our enemies, The Lord will reward us.
Continuing on the subject, On Life and Conduct.
These are the proverbs to live by, so we are not fooled into thinking we can live any way we think is right and following what the Bible teaches us.

How we can be blessed in this time of great need of Loyalty, Wisdom, Lack of Understanding,
and Slanderers.
This is a switch in what has been learned the first eighteen chapter of proverbs, Contrast of the Upright and the Wick.
We now go into learning more about Life and Conduct.

He fed the 5 thousand because He lifted it up to His Father and blessed it, believing there would be enough to feed them with only five loaves of bread and two fish.

We are to listen to Him and not make idols out of false gods, or men.

Jesus reminds the Pharisees, that there will come a day when fasting will be done, but not while the bridegroom, Him, is with them.

Luke tells of the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness.
Jesus never failed us. He knew His purpose and what His calling was.
Jesus starts His public ministry in Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and He was praised by all.
He announced His purpose was to preach to poor, to give sight to the blind, and to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.
He healed many. He casted out demons and laid hands on the sick and they recovered.
He came to preach the kingdom of God.

The shepherds are told where to go and what to expect. They will see child, sent from God to redeem the world.
The shepherd went to Bethlehem to tell of what they had seen.
Luke goes on to tell of how Jesus was presented at the Temple.
The priest offered the sacrifice, a pair of Turtledoves or two young pigeons.
Mary and Joseph was returned to Nazareth, as Jesus continued to grow in wisdom.

There is a scene in Heaven that opens this chapter.
The sound of a trumpet is heard and a voice tells John to "Come up here."
There was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald. There 24 thrones and 24 elders sitting.
Worshiping the Creator. The elders will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne.
Because He is worthy to receive glory and honor and power.

The writer starts off with a letter to Sardis, telling them that their deeds are not complete.
The Sardis Church is told to remember what they have received and heard, to keep it and to repent.
They are told to wake up.
The message to Philadelphia has been kept from the hour of testing, because they have kept His word.
The message to Laodicea was told that they were neither cold nor hot.
They have no idea that they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. They too are told to repent.
He who has an ear, let him repent.

The book of Revelation reminds us of our reward and as it also reminds us where we need to repent.
We cover the first four churches in this episode:
Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum and Thyatira.
Even though we hate evil, we must not forget our first love and how we were so happy and joyful when we first became a believer.
We will be tested, but hold on until the end, it is but for a little while. We will be given the crown of life.
Stay away from idolatry and immoral acts.
We are warned, even though we do good deeds and they are greater than at first, we must not tolerate false teachings.
We are to hold fast to our believe until the end.

John is on the island of Patmos and sees a vision from the Lord.
Johns writes that blessed is the one who reads and hears the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it, for the time is near.
He is told to write down what he sees and send it to the seven churches: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.
He sees lamp stands that are representations of the seven churches.

Paul is so inspired by Philemon's faith and love. He appeals to him to accept a former slave back and forgive an debt owned by the slave Onesimus.
He appeals to Philemon's genuine love of Christ to let this brother in the Lord be useful to him now, whereas he wasn't before.
He doesn't demand this, but ask Philemon to consider, with mercy, how he was in debt to Paul, for his belief in Christ as well.
Paul says, he believes Philemon will do more than asked.

James reminds us that as small as our tongue is, it can do so much danger, if we don't think before we speak.
Reminding us that good and bad shouldn't come from it.
Wisdom comes from above and we aren't to look to the world for instructions. God's wisdom is pure.
Furthermore, there are things we should avoid. Lusting for things and being envious about what we cannot obtain.
If we draw near to God, we will be exalted by Him.
Our lives are but a vapor, so let's remember to always say, if the Lord will, I will do this or that.

James tells us to count it all joy when we are being tested because it will produce endurance within us.
We are to ask God for wisdom because He gives it to us generously and without reproach.
We must believe it though.

James puts emphasis on works alone side our faith, because faith with works is dead.
Abraham was justified by works by offering up his son, Isaac.

The writer of Hebrews reminds us that Jesus is the example, nothing or no one else.
That Jesus endured the hostility, so we should not grow weary.
He will discipline us because He loves us and wants to give us eternal life.
Therefore we must respect Him and obey His word.
We are to help those who are weak among us and live a sanctified life.
The writer reminds us that Christ does not change.
We aren't to fornicate or live an adulterous life. We aren't to be lovers of money and be content with the things we have need of.
He will never desert or forsake us.

The writer of Hebrews reminds us of those who have gone before us, and how they all pleased God because of their faith.
Abel had a better sacrifice. Enoch was taken up and did not taste death, because of his faith.
By Faith Noah believe what he had not seen and became an heir of the righteousness because of his faith.
Abraham, by faith, obeyed by going out to a place, not knowing where he was going, but he believed.
Sarah, by faith, believed she'd conceive a child, beyond child bearing age.
Joseph, Moses, Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, they all pleased God, because of their faith.

The writer of Hebrews tells us that we have a bette covenant in Christ Jesus.
He is our High Priest forever. He died that we might have our sins covered forever.

We are now able to go to the throne of grace, no more outer sanctuary.
His sanctuary wasn't built with hands, but existing since the foundations of time.

The book of Hebrews shows us God's final word in His Son, Jesus Christ.

He is our high priest. He is our boast until the end.

When we think everything is okay, they will be saying peace and safety, the Bible says then shall the end come.
We are not in darkness, so that no one can fool us, like a thief in the night, we are sons of the light.
Those who are asleep will live forever with Christ.
Paul says, we are to encourage one another with this assurance.
He says we are also suppose to admonish the unruly, but encourage the faint hearted. Never repay evil for evil.

Paul is encouraging the church by sending Timothy to the church, that they were warned that there would be suffering and affliction for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He was glad to hear that there were faithful followers and that their testimony was going forth and that it encouraged them to hear such good news.
Paul thought they might have fallen from faith, but he let them know he would continue to pray for their strength in the Lord.
He warned them to flee from sexual immorality, and that no one transgress or default his brother.
Finally, he reassured them that those who had died in Christ would not be left out, but that they would raise first, when the Lord return to receive the church. These were comforting words.

Paul is giving thanks for those who have walked away from their idolatry and sinful lives.
He tells them they are witnesses before God and the people, so they must make sure there is nothing that can be said about them and blameless.
He is glad they have become imitators of him, even with the trials and tribulations they faced.
Their reputation was preceding them in all their good works, they didn't have to say a word, they had turned from idols to God.

Paul is writing to Titus with instructions on a few things;
The qualifications of an Elder, the duties of young and old believers.
He goes on to instruct on how to live a Godly life. These are his concerns for the church, not unlike what we are required to do today.

We are to be of sound speech, not liars. We are to be zealous of good works.

Jude, the brother of James, is warning the church about those who are constantly trying to destroy the work of Jesus Christ.
He said they had crept in unnoticed. They had already been called out in times past.
Jude reminds the church, God's people, of their history and how God did not spare them when they turned to false gods.
He reminded them of Sodom and Gomorrah, because of their behavior, going after strange flesh.
He said many of these men where like, Clouds without water, autumn trees without fruit, casting up their own shame like foam.
We are told to keep ourselves in the love of God. To have mercy on those who have fallen away and are struggling.
As Christians, we can be such an instrument of change for many people, who otherwise are heading toward destruction and hell.

Paul writes this letter to Timothy assuring him that difficult times will surely come.
He lets him know that they will be those who will do everything in their power to stop him from preaching the word.
He tells Timothy to avoid such men. Those that preach false doctrine and are reckless, conceited and have no power of God in their lives.
Paul tells Timothy to continue to be faithful and preach the word.
Paul tells Timothy to be ready in at all times, because a time will come when men will fall away and began to believe things that tickled their ears, instead of the truth.
Finally, Paul needed some personal things delivered to him and he wanted to see Mark, so that he could continue to get help from him.
Paul had a hard time, but he continued in the faith because he knew would always rescue him bring him safely to His Heavenly Kingdom.

He told him to rekindled his gift that was by the laying of hands.

Paul reminded Timothy some had fallen away from the faith. He said all that were in Asia, turned away.
If we die in Christ, we will live in Him.
Some who had fallen away and said that Christ didn't raise from the dead and was upsetting some with these false teachings.
He reminded Timothy and the fellow believers, not to be quarrelsome and unkind.

We are being tested, not unlike the Corinthians Church. Paul lets us know that our answer is the same as it was then. We must love our fellow man.
We should use words of exhortation, encouragement and edifying to help our brothers and sisters.
Paul lets us know that everything else be done away with, but love will last beyond all.
The Lord is not the author of confusion, if we come together to worship and pray, let all be done in an orderly manner.
Speaking in tongues should only happen when there is someone to interpret.

Whether we eat or drink, whatever we do, do all to the glory of God.

Paul shares what we are to do in marriage.
How it is good to be married if you are tempted with the lust of your flesh.
We are more concentrated on the Lord, when we are single.
It is not bad to marry, but it is better for some to stay single, if that is their gift. They shouldn't be forced to marry because social looks at them differently.
We should not seek to be separated, if we are married. The believing husband or wife could lead the unbelieving one to faith in Christ.

In this episode, Paul reminds us that we are Christ's body and we should never join our bodies with immoral things.
It seems there was a member of the local assembly, who married his father's wife.
We are not to associate with such so-called people in the body.
Finally, we are never to take a fellow saint to the court of law.
It may be lawful but not profitable.
We are to flee immorality and never let it become a part of our body.

Paul warns the church at Corint that there must not be any jealousy or strife in the body of Christ.
There are no big I's or little U's. Christ is the One, that causes the church to grow.
We plant and water, but it is Him who causes the growth and supplies the power for us all to be His witnesses.
We can build on no other foundation but that of Christ Jesus.
We are not to judge because God is the only one who knows our heart. We don't judge righteously anyway.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of the Lord.

Paul had heard there was division starting in the church.
They were some that were quarreling about baptism and who baptized them.
Some were going back to the teaching of the world's wisdom as their standard.
Paul was reinforcing the teaching of God's wisdom above all. No man can boast before God, because righteousness, sanctification and redemption comes from God.
Finally, faith would not rest upon nothing but the power of God.
The natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him.

We are warned of the evil workers that have come into our mist.
We are to have no confidence in our flesh or what we feel we can accomplish on our own merits, who were are born to, what status we have in life, etc,.
Our citizenship is in heaven and that's more important than anything here on earth.
God's peace passes all understanding.
We are to think on the things that are honorable, right, pure, and lovely.
Finally God provides for His own. We are to be satisfied with what He gives us. He will provide all of our needs.

God Chose Paul, not men.
We are justified by faith and not works.
It is faith that produces Righteousness, and our father Abraham believed God, which accounted as Righteousness.

John warns us of those deceivers that are in the world.
Trying to separate us from the Love of God and His truth.
We are told not to even associate with them.
Don't give them God speed on their departure from your presence.

That if we ask according to His will, He hears us.
John further tells us that all unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin leading to death.

John reminds us that there is no darkness in Christ. We therefore should walk in the light.
If we hate our brothers and say we are walking in the light, we are making Christ a liar. The truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, Christ is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins.
As believers, we should not love the world. We are living in the last hour. We have an anointing in us from the Holy One.
No one who denies the Son have the Father, the one who confesses the Son has the Father.
We are promised eternal life.
Finally, in chapter 3, John tells us not to practice sin and lawlessness.
If we have the worlds goods, we should help those who have not. Love is an action word.

We are to be imitators of God. Our homes should reflect that image.
The family relationship is so very important. We must do our best to keep the armor of God on, remembering who we are in Christ.

Paul reminds us we are dead in our trespasses and sins.
That the Father predestined us to be sons Through Jesus Christ.
It is by grace through faith that we have been saved.
That the cross, put to death the enmity between us and God.
Now, we, gentiles, are no longer strangers and aliens, but we are fellow citizens
In chapter 2, Paul encourages those in Ephesus, not to lose heart at his tribulations, but it was for their glory.
That God was, and is, able to do far more that we can think or ask.

Paul concluded this book with much love for the church.
Letting us know, through the Holy Spirit, we have to show love for the brotherhood.
The strong should always bear the burden of helping the weak in faith.
We are encouraged that this battle on earth will be won by the Saints and that the Lord will crush Satan under our feet.
Paul gives greeting and wants us to greet and support those who help the church and risk their neck for the sake of the gospel.
Paul mentions so many in this last chapter of Romans who helped and encouraged him, such as Pricilla and Aquilla.

Paul lets us know that we are not to be conformed to this world.
We may have many members, but all are one in Christ.
We are to love without being hypocrites.
Bless those who persecute us and let the Lord deal with them, never take out vengeance on them.
It might be hard at times, but be subject to government, because authority comes from God. We are to pray for those who have rule over us.
We are owe nothing to anyone except to love one another.
Lastly, do not tear down the work of God for the sake of food or one day over another. The faith which we have, we are to have as our own conviction before God.

Paul lets us know that God has mercy on whom He sees fit.
His mercy and patience shows how great He is.
People who were not called His people will be called His people.
His own people will be a stumbling block.
That there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile.
Paul lets the church know that Israel will not be forgotten, but through their disbelief, Gentiles were accepted into the body of Christ by faith.
Paul reminded us that Jews will become jealous of the relationship between Gentiles and God.
Israel will be given another opportunity to be grafted back into the body, when they accept Christ.

Paul lets us know that there is no condemnation to those that are in Christ.
Christ died for those who love Him and await His return.
We no longer walk in the flesh, or obey the things of the flesh.
Our mindset in on the things of the Spirit.
We have the Spirit of the living God dwelling in our bodies as believers in Christ.
So, we have no more obligation to the things of our flesh. We are over comers.
This suffering that will happen to us, is not to be compared with the hope we have in Christ, we have victory in Christ.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?
That's the question Paul posed to the church in Rome.
He told them they were baptized into Christ death and should own that act of sacrifice, grace and mercy, He completed on the cross.
Paul told us that who we present our bodies to, becoming slaves, that is who we obey. One resulting in sin, the other, to obedience and righteousness.
In chapter 7, we learn that we are united to Christ.
Furthermore, Paul lets us know that the law is not sin. We learn to do the right things because the law showed us the way before Christ.
Finally, there will always be a conflict of two natures dwelling in us. The mind of God and my flesh waging a war.

Paul tells us the Christ came for all and that once you accept Him, He forgives you of your many sins.
Not like before, where you had to continually offer up sacrifices. Once was for the many sins we all have and had committed in our lives.
We are justified by our faith in Christ.
He died once for all.

Paul reminds us that Faith came before works because Abraham, believed God before circumcision.
The grace of God reached down and provided a guarantee that our faith in Jesus Christ would take precedence over any works.
Abraham believed when he was 100 and the deadness of Sarah's womb didn't deter him, regarding the promise from God that he would be the father of many nations.
That we are justified by faith.

Paul is reminding the Jews, that God is not partial.
We are to make sure we do what we say we believe is right to do.
Jews can't expect the God of the Bible to overlook their sins, because of outwardly being circumcised.
God looks at the heart, which can't be hidden.
Those not circumcised outwardly, but follow the law, become a law unto themselves, because they do the right things.
Paul lets the Jews know that they are suppose to be the teachers and the doers of the law.
He is a Jew who is one inwardly, not by the letter of the law, and his praise is not from men, but from God.

Paul is excited about going to the church at Rome.
He exalts the Gospel and lets those in Rome know that he was to share with them, the power of Jesus Christ.
Paul has heard about their faith and he is wants to impart spiritual gifts to them, so that they may be established in the faith.
He lets them know, he is not ashamed of the gospel.
He does not want them to have any excuse for doing the right things, leaving behind the sins of the past.
He reminds them of what will, and what has happened, to those who say they are believers, but continue to worship false gods.
Greed, arrogance, gossips, strife, deceit, etc., are all worthy of death.
Harsh words, but words that will protect them from eternal damnation, and separation from the Lord.

Gentiles are not left out of the plan of salvation, we hear the Good-News.
In this episode, we learn that we will be persecuted for our faith, maybe not stoned, but certainly laughed at and not taken seriously.
When we remind people of who Jesus is, it convicts them.
Once the gospel goes out, it will not return void, but it will save folk and it will create miracles in their lives.
Listening to the Spirit of God is so very important. Phillip hear from the Lord and he acted on it. The Ethiopian Eunuch would not have been saved, had it not been for the obedience of Phillip listening and obeying the Spirit.
We must do the same today. Act on His word, His power and His command.
The word will spread no other way, than you and I telling people about Him.
In this episode, we learn that it is never a good thing to lie to the Holy Spirit.
That even though men will persecute you, God has your back.
Wise men know it's not a good thing to put your hands on God's service.
The ministry of helps, Deacons, is an essential part of the body of Christ.
In This episode we see the disciples healing a man who has been lame since birth.
Peter preached to those who had turned Jesus over to the Romans for His crucifixion. He offered them redemption for their deeds.
Peter and John are threaten and then released, but they go on to spread the word of Jesus.
Sharing the gospel with confidence and power will overcome all evil.
This episode starts with the Ascension of our Lord Jesus and goes to the Upper Room.
The Day of Pentecost!
Peter offers redemption to those who didn't believe and were shouting, Crucify Him, days earlier.
We all have denied our Savior at some point, but I'm so glad, He never gives up on us.
Thinking about the Crucifixion always brings such horrible thoughts into our mind. It was a horrible way to kill anyone.
Our Lord died on that cross for us. That's Love.
His Love for us motivated Him to go to that extent.
These last three chapters concludes this book, The Gospel of John.

We learned that as disciples, we are in this world, but not of it. We have a future glory awaiting us, as Christians.
Judas betrayal of Jesus has always taken me back but I also realize that things haven't change today. There are always things that will make us look away from Christ. Jesus prayed for us and asked the Father to protect us from the evil-one.
Jesus stands before Pilate and I love it when Pilate lets the world know, "I find no fault in this man".
I want to stand in front of my savior and hear him tell me, because of my dying on the cross, I find no fault in you.
This episode teaches us that we must stay connected to Jesus. We are His Branches and He is The Vine.
Our relations with fellow believers is most important, as well as our understanding about how the world will treat, and think of us.
Jesus promised us The Holy Spirit would come and teach us all truth.
The Lord hears our prayers and He gives us assurance that we can ask in His name, believing, and it will be done of the Father.
The promises of God are so awesome and wonderful.
We won't be loved by the world, but own comfort comes in knowing the world didn't love our savior either. He promises to give us peace that the world knows nothing about.
I love you Lord.
This episodes gives us an example of how we are to serve one another.
Jesus washes His disciples feet and assures them that He will not leave them without a Helper, The Holy Spirit.
We are to do greater works because the Holy Spirit lives in us.
Let us not betray Jesus, as we live out our daily lives.
Because we have the Holy Spirit living in us, we are one with the Father and Jesus.
We learn that Lazarus' being raised from the death caused many to believe and the rulers wanted him death because of it.
Image people wanting to kill you because The Lord blessed you.
Mary anoints Jesus and Judas is mad. The conspiracy to kill Jesus is in full force.
Palm branches, people shouting Hosanna!, Greeks coming to The Lord, and prophesy being fulfilled.
Finally, Jesus foretells His death and the world has a savior riding into Jerusalem on a donkey colt.
This episode starts with the healing of the blind man, who had been born blind. The Pharisees didn't believe and didn't want anyone else to believe.
They excommunicated the man because he was healed on the Sabbath and he was telling people about his healing.
Jesus said those who say they see, really are blind themselves.
Finally, in chapter 10, Jesus tells them all that He is the Good Shepherd and those who hear Him and obey Him, are His sheep.
He came to do the works of the Father. He told them, if they didn't believe Him and what He said, believe the works, because the Father is in Him, and He in Him.
There will always be naysayers, those who won't or can't believe the Son of God came from heaven to save the world.
This division exist to this day. Jesus didn't come to condemn us, but to shed the light on our sins, so that we might repent, just as the adulterous woman.
The freedom spoken of in these scriptures can be experienced by everyone who calls upon His name.
The healing of the lame man at Bethesda and Jesus saying that He is the Son of God upset many of the people.
The dead will hear His voice and raise again to eternal life.
The witness of John is that Jesus would increase, that he might decrease. The scripture told of Jesus coming, as the writing of Moses told the Jews, so they should have believed.
Jesus fed the 5 thousand and walked on water, this shows who Jesus is and Peter recognized Jesus as the Son of God.
Jesus shows and tells us He is for all who believe in His name and that He is the One.
As He goes to Galilee and on the way speaks to the Samaritan woman, He gives her instructions on how to become a believer. We must confess our sins.
The healing of the Nobleman's Son shows us that we must believe before we can expect anything from The Lord.
Finally, John told everyone that he would decrease but the One after him must increase. He never told anyone that he was the Christ.
How often do we try to take credit for things in our life? If we continue to give Him the glory, it honors Him and we are able to do the works of the kingdom, with power and authority.
The Gospel of John is fundamental to understanding who Christ Is. John tells his disciples, he is not the one. He tells everyone, he is voice crying in the wilderness, preparing the way for the true light.
The word is made flesh with Christ appearance. John testified of His coming.
Jesus public ministry starts in this narrative and we learn of His first converts.
The wedding is where Christ performs the miracle of turning water into wine.
The 1st. Passover and the cleansing of the temple ends out these two chapters.
Judas was remorseful after betraying Jesus. How many times have betrayed our faith, to be reminded of the price our Savior paid for our eternal life?
We will face those who mock us each day, just like those who mocked Jesus. He promised us, we'd be killed for His name sake.
Jesus told His disciples that He was going to be killed, but He would rise again. Some doubted, but He rose like He said He would.
Now, we are given the great commission to go into the world and tell others about our Savior. That's the least we can do, he gave his life.
This Chapter brings us closer to Christ fulfilling His mission on earth.
The plot to kill him by Judas and Judas' bargains for 30 pieces of silver foretold.
When we chose to do the best things, as the woman pouring precious oil on our Savior. She was preparing Him for his burial.
His Spirit goes before Him to confirm a place for The Last Passover, so that He could institute The Lord's Supper.
Nothing would stop His mission, though He felt the pain and grief, He knew His Father's will was more important.
Lastly, we learn to always pray, because the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Peter realized this first hand.
Christ tells us of His return and what to look for.
Things will get worst before they get better, in our world.
We need to be watchful and be ready for His eminent return.
We don't want to be like those virgins who were not prepared.
We are to take full advantage of our God given talents and not waste them because conditions aren't always to our liking.
We can be sure, judgement is coming, so be wise and help others.
Feed the poor, visit those that are sick, volunteer services to those in jail or in the hospital.
What we do for the least of them, we as unto Him.
Many will be called but few will be chosen because they will be busy doing other things they believe more important.
Loving God and loving others are the two most important things to live by.
Pharisaism was exposed in biblical times just as we see it today. We are to make sure we are doing the right things for the right reasons, not to be seen of men.
The Woes of life: hindering others, teaching false doctrines, not knowing the truth, no justice or mercy, false personality, and if I could, I would have done this or that
He came to save us, but we just didn't want to be saved.
Isn't that some of us today? We don't believe he came and died, and rose for us.
Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord.
We learn that it doesn't matter when we accept Christ, as to the order of our membership in the family. What matters is that be servants.
The competition of the world has not place in the body of Christ, we everyone to be that perfect church. Everyone will be challenged.
The church building is where we come to honor and give thanks to the Lord, not a place to sell or bargain for goods.
Christ lets us know that we are to be fruitful.
Doing the will of the Lord is how we are blessed and rejecting Him means we will be rejected by the Father.
This episode teaches us a lot. We struggle with competition in our lives. The disciples were no different. They wanted to be first.
The danger of being a stumbling block to others, causing them to look at our behavior and think God is the same.
Seeing about that person who has strayed is so important to remember. We should discipline ourselves and prayer continually. Forgiving others is a must.
Learning to be as a child and never putting anything in the way of following Christ will assure us that we will have a reward in the kingdom of heaven.
The non-believers testing Christ and Peter realizes who Christ really is.
The Disciples find out that it will take putting aside everything they have to follow Jesus to make into the kingdom.
They have a rare glimpse of Jesus together with Moses and other men of faith, who have gone before them.
Jesus continues to heal, which continues to help some believe He is who He says He is.
Finally, He teaches us to render to Cesar what is due, and to Him what is due.
Christ never wants us to be a stumbling block to anyone.
