On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first man to step foot on the moon, fulfilling a promise made by John F. Kennedy over eight years earlier. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of this historic moment, Dr. Robert O. Harmon, the Perkins-Howard Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Ohio Wesleyan University, talks about how we got to the moon and what we learned to guide us in the future of space exploration.
