Conflict sometimes arises where there is confusion, so being able to connect effectively is important. We discuss the 4 T's needed in order to have effective communication (Timing, Tone, Technique, & Truth). We hope this episode encourages you and gives you the tools needed to help you with how you communicate.

In this episode we share about the process of forgiveness and how unforgiveness causes disease in the body, dis-ease. Forgiveness is an act of Love that should be practiced day in and day out. It's not time that heals your wounds, but God. You simply have to decide to allow God in to minister to your hurts in your heart that you've held onto. After all, He is the Best Heart surgeon out there!
I mention the 4 R's to forgiveness, and they are: Reveal, Repent, Release, and Restore! Is there anyone you need to forgive and go through this process so you can be Free?! This includes forgiving yourself!
Keep an eye out on our IG for our Forgiveness program revamp that we will be launching soon. If you are interested , or have any questions, feel free to message us on IG.

This is a topic that can later be expanded if and when we have listener questions. Until then, in this episode, we share about Identity, how we can lose our identity and Who speaks truth as to who we are. Identity as Josh shares in the beginning, is defined as the fact of being who or what a person or thing is; it comes from late latin, meaning the quality of being identical. Our identity can get lost in who we are in close connection to, what we do, feelings, words spoken over us (that are NOT God's word over you), and the list can go on. It's all about whose voice you're choosing to listen to when it comes to your identity. This particular episode is Not just for married couples, so please share this with as many people around you as you can. :) After listening, we want to encourage you to ask yourself : "WHO AM I?" Outside of roles, feelings about yourself, etc.
Verses discussed: Jeremiah 1:5, 1 Peter 2:9, John 8:44

The episode you’ve been waiting for… SEX! Sex is quite the topic to talk about, especially in marriage. In this episode, we share about the importance of protecting your marriage bed and how God created sex to be. It’s easily lost in translation as the world teaches that sex outside of marriage is a better type of pleasure. Oh, how the world is so wrong! Sex is more than just a physical connection. We hope you enjoy this episode!
In this episode, we share about 4 areas of intimacy because it’s More than just sex 😜! We can’t forget to mention those intimacy blockers. Even “good” things can block the intimacy of your relationship. We hope you enjoy this episode☺️.
In this episode we talk about the importance of creating / developing a discipline in your commitment together. (As it pertains to the vision you created for your marriage) Discipline isn’t always easy, but it’s important. Consistency is key to staying disciplined so that you can see success in your relationship.
We love to reflect on our previous year and see what worked and what didn’t, what goals we reached and what we still need to work on & towards. Creating a New vision for the year helps us as to what to look forward to and what to pray for as we head into this new year. We’d love to encourage you to do the same after listening to this episode. Happy Listening!
In this episode, we talk about the needs of a husband and a wife. It’s easy to let some needs go unmet when you get distracted with life going on all around you. We encourage you to open up your communication by sharing any unmet needs you have with your spouse. If one has an unmet need that needs to be fulfilled, I can almost guarantee the other has an unmet need as well. The Best marriage is 2 servants in love. Ask your spouse How you can serve them today by meeting a need of theirs.
We are back from a long break and are excited to share this episode with you!
The state of being "happy" is different from having "joy."
Many times we confuse being happy with having joy. Although they can go hand in hand, Joy is a strength, while happiness can be fleeting. After all, the Joy of the Lord is your strength! ( Nehemiah 8:10 ) Whether you are in a relationship or not, we all have different relationship with people as we connect with others, so this may be an encouragement to you. It's a short episode, but we hope you gain something from it.
Today, we wanted to talk about what commitment is all about, and what it looks like. Commitment builds trust in a relationship. What have you committed to when it comes to your relationship? Have you made bad commitments? Have you made commitments above your marriage or above your relationship with God? Tune in to hear all we have to share in this episode.
In this episode, we discuss speaking more life into your relationship. When we are focusing on flaws and hurtful words, it tears down your relationship rather than strengthen it. Don’t be the quarrelsome wife or the husband that disrupts the security in relationship. Keep the GOOD of the other at the forefront. Promote the positive and negate the negative.
In this episode we share about the 5 Apology languages from Gary Chapman, and share about Forgiveness. Forgiving someone can be hard, but it is an act of Love in which we get to express. We also share a bit about our forgiveness journeys we have been on. Forgiveness shows such grace and mercy to the one who has hurt you. We don't just get to receive Grace and Mercy that God gives us, but we also have to give them to those whom we may feel have wronged us. In doing that, we experience the Love of God on a deeper level.

Having boundaries in your marriage are super important. After all, God showed us just how important boundaries are from the very beginning of time. In this episode we discuss different areas we need to put up boundaries to protect our “Us.” Boundaries not only show others that you respect your us, but also show Them how to respect your us.
It’s Valentine’s Day! In today’s episode, we talk about constant pursuit of one another. On this particular day, the day of Love, many receive flowers, have special dinners, meals, etc. And we wanted to share how important it is to create this kind of “pursuit” in your relationship every day. Still chasing and going after the one you love so dearly.
Walking out your vows is doing the daily things that show honor, love, trust, and all you promised to your spouse. Your vows are not just said as a one and done kinda thing. You speak it, then you do it, Daily. Be a man or woman of your word(s). As you walk your vows out, it shows that you value your relationship.
In this episode, we share the importance of creating a vision for your relationship. Set relationship goals as you continue to pursue one another. You get to create your happily ever after, so what does that Look like?! Every relationship is different. Josh and I created a “guided” couples communication journal to help you communicate in a different form. In the beginning of our communication journal is a vision board that starts your journey as a couple to help you reach relationship goals. Here is the link if you’d like to grab you a copy! We pray that it bless you both! https://www.lulu.com/en/us/shop/christina-joshua-rose/mr-mrs-couples-communication-journal/paperback/product-1z7rqqwn.html?page=1&pageSize=4
Conflict in relationship is inevitable. In relationship we get hurt, but it doesn't mean we have to be hateful. Conflict arises as an opportunity to strengthen your unity. How you can work better as a team. "PRAY UP BEFORE YOU BLOW UP!" In this episode, we talk about how we had to learn how we process anger differently and when to come together to discuss the situation at hand. We allowed for growth in our relationship because our love for one another outweighed any conflict that has come up. We want to encourage you to listen in and apply the "homework" we give. Fighting from Love takes Practice. Practice and create more love in your relationship even when you don't see eye to eye. It's not about who is right or wrong , but WHAT is right for your US. Intimacy is MORE THAN SEX! Although we all love sex, intimacy starts when we communicate. It helps us to connect on deeper levels. When we are married, it allows us to go much deeper. Which in turn, allows for greater sex. Men are you listening?!
We develop a stronger bond in our relationship when we are intentional with our communication and when we are vulnerable. If you truly trust someone with your physical being, why wouldn't you open up and share your inner self, especially your spouse? In this episode, we hope to encourage you both to OPEN up and share those hurt places. Talk it out, but MOST importantly, LISTEN to your spouse. When your spouse opens up, it's important to NOT be dismissive or rejecting because this causes wounds in your communication, and breaks a piece of that trust bond. Be intentional with Connecting with your spouse so you can GROW together and build a stronger unity in your US. When one hurts, the other hurts....it affects your US. Building Intimacy in your communication starts with intention.
