For well over a decade, Saleem Ghubril has focused on the educational futures of thousands of Pittsburgh children as the Executive Director of The Pittsburgh Promise. But there is much more to his calling. He was a guest on the Rick Dayton Show to talk about the Promise, his work with the Pittsburgh Project, and his lengthy friendship with Franco Harris. This weekend, the Promise will honor the late Steeler great and his wife Dana for their years of service.
