Here in the beginning of John’s gospel, we have two of the most foundational truths of the Christian faith:

1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

2) And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us..

It is through the God-Man, Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, that we find true hope and redemption.
