In chapters 13-27, Isaiah describes how God's judgment will ultimate lead to the blessing and salvation of the whole world. In this second-of-four messages in this sub-section, Isaiah brings prophecies against the ancient enemies of Cush and Egypt ... and then uncovers a surprising enemy - the nation of Judah itself! Figuratively, this refers to God's judgment over our sinful flesh. But the great news is our sinful flesh can be redeemed and restored in the new heavens and the new earth.
