On the west coast of the Qingdao’s Huang Dao, ('Qing' in Chinese means green and 'Huang' meaning yellow) there is a phrase in Chinese called 'green and yellow do not join' (which means 'temporary shortage of harvest') / The ferry has for many years connected the east and west coasts of Qingdao (Qing and Huang Island) /After the undersea harbor tunnel was opened in 2012, the busy commuting ferries on the water surface could no longer be seen / But the Ferry’s whistle with the Jiaozhou Bay’s beautiful views still warms the heart / The end of an era still close to the hearts of many //
