June 11, 2018 / 20:00 /10th and Callowhill / I like the hypnotic effects of repetitive, robotic announcements, which I’ve made use of before / A friend of mine tipped me off to the announcements at this intersection, which is in a gentrifying area just north of center city that still has a lot of artifacts from its more industrial days—abandoned factories and rail lines, not to mention warehouses / The speakers at the intersection are not entirely synced up, creating an echo effect that’s magnified by reflection off the nearby buildings /There was also a bit of a misunderstanding between a few drivers, who provide a chorus of angry honking toward the end of the track //
