October 20, 2017 / 08:30 / 45.424305, 11.875465 / Santissima Trinità / Three years ago I moved to Padua with a couple of friends / Our flat is about 1km away from the Railway Station, in the Arcella district: more precisely in a part of town called Santissima Trinità / The Arcella district includes a large slice of the northern Padua area / Santissima Trinità is located between the two main arterial roads of the district: Via Annibale da Bassano and Via Tiziano Aspetti / It is densely populated and one of the most multiethnic districts / Over the years it has been absorbed into the city center following the urban expansion of the first periphery and the “urban belt” / After all these years I still have to get used to the vertical geometry of the buildings and to the city frenzy because, before moving here, my eyes and habits were shaped by the horizons and quiet of the Veneto countryside / This recording was made in the morning from the window of my studio-bedroom / Although we are in a central area of the city, the soundscape is not chaotic //
