Back in the spring of 2015,

Racism, Segregation, and Police Brutality had gotten out of control.

So UMES students decided to come together via Social media and take a stand in a positive way!

Students marched from the Students Services center (at the University of Maryland Eastern shore) to Route 13, where they blocked the North and Southbound lanes for a half hour.

Students proved their point; people can come together in a positive way and still stand up for their rights.
