Former American Idol contestant Caleb Flynn is charged with murdering his pregnant wife Ashley Flynn inside their home in Tipp City after initially telling 911 that an intruder had broken in and shot her. Investigators quickly focused on Flynn after concluding the scene did not match a forced-entry home invasion and that physical evidence inside the house pointed inward rather than to an outside suspect. Prosecutors are now preparing for trial around a theory that the crime scene was staged, while also raising concerns about Flynn’s post-arrest jail communications and alleged efforts to influence witnesses.
