Iowa State gets a recommitment from 4-star offensive linemen Will Slagle. Slagle committed to Iowa State last fall but decommitted after Matt Campbell left to be the head coach of the Penn State Nittany Lions.

The 6-foot-4, 280-pound interior linemen held offers from multiple Power 5 schools including Penn State, Arkansas, Auburn, Duke, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Miami, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Northwestern, Stanford, and Wisconsin.

The Grinnell, Iowa native is the No. 4 rated prospect in the state of Iowa and the No. 22 rated interior offensive line in the country per 247Sports.

Iowa State made Slagle a priority target after Jimmy Rogers and his staff landed in Ames. Rogers along with new offensive coordinator Tyler Roehl and new offensive line coach Jake Thornton were crucial in landing the 4-star prospect.
