“Environmental justice is the intersection of both social justice and environmentalism, where the inequity in environmental degradation is also considered.” - Leah Thomas

With everything going on I felt it was important to talk a little bit more about what environmental justice and racism, my experience recognizing it in the industry and about how minorities, specifically black people are significantly impacted. We talk about the water crisis in Flint Michigan, and Superfund and Brownfield sites near low-income housing.
