We're rolling steadily along into 1917, where Joe May is giving Fritz Lang one of his first shots at filmdom fame. Hilde Warren und Der Tod, directed by May with a script penned by future auteur Lang, tells the story of one woman's struggle with a terrible choice. The Phantom Erik brings you this German tale, along with discussions on demon seeds and evil children in film, all perhaps inspired by this story (which may be one of the first tales to include a 'bad seed').

Any feedback, suggestions, comments or just plain "hey man, nice shot"s can be sent to 100yearsofhorror@gmail.com or on Facebook. Also be sure to follow The Phantom Erik on Twitter @ThePhantomErik to discuss the films on the podcast.
