In the Season After Epiphany our Gospel readings in the lectionary center on stories from the early ministry of Jesus. This Sunday we consider Jesus’ ministry in Capernaum, along the Sea of Galilee as he invited two sets of the fishermen brothers, Peter and Andrew, and James and John, the sons of Zebedee, to follow him.
