IS has claimed responsibility for two blasts near the Abei entrance to the Hamid Karzai airport in the Afghan capital, Kabul.

Meanwhile, international media reported that 73 people, including 13 US troops, were killed in the incident. 140 people were reported injured in the incident. Two explosions were reported last night outside the Hamid Karzai airport in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.

The first blast took place outside a hotel near the east entrance, while the second blast took place near the airport's Abe entrance. U.S. officials said it would be a suicide bombing.
