Sri Lankan President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, who brought many Buddhist theorists to power and made bold decisions, is now missing, a Buddhist theologian in southern Sri Lanka has said.
Speaking at a media briefing in Colombo yesterday, Elle Gunawansa Thero of the Sinhala Ravaya said that President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, who makes decisions that are not feared by anyone, is working to seek the advice of the wrongdoers in matters of controlling the spread of the corona.
He further commented that there is a suspicion that Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, whom we brought to power, is in power today. He was abducted and a figure like him is placed here.
Or his brain has been modified by a computer. There is no leader like him who has made a decision with a backbone. It is therefore doubtful whether the leader we elected is missing.
The previous government did not block reports of a resurgent Sunday attack in order to retain its political power. They all went abroad because the criminals could not move freely.
It has not provided the police or the military to carry out investigations in this regard. The current head of state is carrying out a similar operation. He said he must act responsibly.x
