A young man who was seriously injured in an accident has died after 8 days without any treatment. The accident took place on 29.07.2021 in Vishwamadu town. 19-year-old Sasikumar Thanojigan, a 19-year-old resident of Visvamadu Manikkapuram who was injured in an accident, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Jaffna on Saturday. When the youth in question was traveling in Unduruli on 29.07.2021 Hayes was involved in a collision with a vehicle. Following this, the youth was taken to Dharmapuram Hospital and transferred to Jaffna Teaching Hospital for further treatment. The Hayes vehicle was taken to the police station by the Puthukkudiyiruppu police and investigations are underway.
