Ragama Hospital Director Liyanage Ranasinghe said that the hospital has reached a state of inactivity. He further said,

About 500 corona patients are being treated at our hospital. Many of these are found in hospital corridors with mattresses. Some patients have complained that the bodies of those who died of corona are kept in the corridors of hospitals without being removed.
