Consumers are facing massive inconveniences as there is a shortage of gas across the country and there is no alternative.

This is due to the fact that Laugfs has decided to limit gas imports due to the prevailing dollar shortage in the country.

Gas companies have called on the government to increase the price of gas in Sri Lanka in the wake of rising gas prices in the international market.

However, the government has not given permission to increase the price of gas.
