_Fisheries Minister Douglas Devananda has stated that he is making efforts to set up a separate faculty for fisheries related courses in the Mullaitivu district. He was commenting on the newly formed Vavuniya University. The Minister said that the University of Vavuniya should shine as an intellectual think tank that will produce intellectual thinking and future generations. He expressed his appreciation, gratitude and congratulations to all those who raised or contributed to the Vavuniya campus to this level.
