People living in isolated areas in Velanai have demanded help to get essential items.

Jaffna - Saravana West, Velanai J / 21 A section under the Grama Niladhari Division has been disabled under the Isolation Act.

The area has been shut down following the recent outbreak of the virus.

The area with 76 families has been disabled since yesterday (01).

After 3 days of isolation, the people of the area complained that the essential food items in their possession were exhausted and relief items were not available properly.
