Welikada police have arrested popular Sinhala singer Umaria Sinhawangsa in connection with an accident in the Rajagiriya area, police spokesman Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Ajith Rohana said. The accident was reported to have taken place yesterday evening. The car in which singer Umaria Sinhawangsa was traveling collided with a three-wheeler The driver of the three-wheeler injured in the incident has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital for treatment. Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
