_Colombo Additional Magistrate Loshani Abeywickrema has ordered the Telecommunications Commission of Sri Lanka to take action to block all sexual websites operating within Sri Lanka. The magistrate directed the commission to submit a report to the court containing all the information including access to sexually explicit websites, registration of names for such websites, payment and provision of services The judge added that the orders were issued using the jurisdiction of Criminal Procedure Code 124 as the judiciary should intervene to control the current situation due to sex websites. The Colombo magistrate issued the order yesterday while investigations were underway into the alleged incident of a 15-year-old girl engaging in online sex work in the Mount Lavinia area.
