However, the agents refused to return the money. Following this, the young man planned to trap the two fraudsters. Meanwhile, an old man from Varani has acted as an agent for Colombo agents. The youths have approached the old man saying that 5 youths in Thenmarachchi want to go abroad. The Varani old man enthusiastically voted to inform the Colombo agents, "Then it would be better to send France by direct," ready to leave for France, and Colombo agents said they would be ready at 6 pm yesterday. After that, the Varani agent called one of his relatives on his mobile phone and gave him the information that he urgently needed one lakh rupees and kept the call on his cell phone. When he had finished speaking, the youths threatened the agents, as the mobile phone was not disconnected and the relative on the other end noticed it and immediately informed the Kodikamam police, while some of the Kodikamam police station officers went when the agent's relative went there. However as the youths somehow managed to escape from the house knowing that the police were approaching, all the three detained agents were rescued by the police. During the investigation, the agents admitted that they had received money from the youths and identified 5 youths as being involved in the incident.
