Only God truly knows what is in our hearts. Those who commit heinous crimes against humanity are struggling with deep rooted issues. God fully appreciates this. Who among us can completely comprehend what others harbor in the deepest recesses of their hearts, what painful past experiences still haunt them; what portion of their mind or brain or psyche has been damaged by unforeseen forces? To assume to know that which is unseen - one's motives - is both arrogant and self-righteous.
