In an effort to reduce friction and dissention between us, society has been promoting our need to tolerate one another's difference. Whether cultural, religious, political, or that of a sexual nature, we have all been encouraged to be more unbiased towards our neighbors, coworkers, family members, and so forth. But I am tired of people promoting tolerance. To me, it is futile attempt to force us to allow others to be who they are while suppressing our disapproval for fear of creating a scene.
